1. The service

Renew keeps a business’s documents and reminds its members before they expire. Access is by invitation only.

Reminders are an aid; renewing documents on time remains the business’s responsibility, and we are not liable for fines or losses from a missed renewal.

2. The business’s responsibilities

The business confirms it is authorised to upload the documents and the personal data in them, and has told the people concerned (such as employees) that it is processed for this purpose.

The business is responsible for what it enters, and reviews what the platform reads automatically before saving it.

The business keeps its members’ accounts secure and invites only people entitled to see its documents.

3. Data processing agreement

The business is the controller of its documents’ data; Taqania is a processor acting on its behalf.

We process the data only to provide the service and on the business’s documented instructions (including its settings in the app), and bind our staff to confidentiality.

We use the service providers listed in the privacy policy, and tell the business before adding a new one.

We help the business answer requests from the people whose data it holds, and tell it without delay of any breach affecting its data.

When the service ends or deletion is requested, we delete its data and files within 7 days, after it has had the chance to download them.

We give the business the information it needs to show our compliance, on request.

4. Limits and suspension

Each business has limits (documents, daily readings, team members), and we may suspend an account that is misused.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We announce any material change in the app before it takes effect.
